Anti-bateria and DPPH radical scavenging activity of different parts from Syringa Reticulata (Blume) Hara var.
Objective:The context was performed to investigate the antioxidant activity and anti-bacteria of the 75% (v/v) ethanol extraction of different parts from Syringa Rticulate (Bl.) Hara var. mandshurica (Maxim.) Hara Methods:The growth inhibitory activity and the lowest concentration for anti-bacteria of the two common bacteria were determined by filter paper method. And the DPPH radical-scavenging activity with different concentrations of different parts from the herb was determined by spectrophotometry method Results:The order of inhibitory effect of the ethanol extraction of the Syringa Reticulata (Blume) Hara var. on salmonella is branch > flower>leaves>bark. The order of the inhibitory effect on bacillus subtilis is leaves >branch>bark >flower. The bark of the plant has the strongest scavenging activity for DPPH radical, which was better than flower, branch and leaves in order Conclusion:The branch and leaves of Syringa Reticulata (Blume) Hara var. possess the strongest antibacterial activity,while its bark and flower possess a strong antioxidant activity. As a result, the branch and flower of the plant possess better application value.
