Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of “Jianpi Huoxue Sanzhuo Decoction” in treating hyperlipemia. Methods One hundred and two cases with hyperlipemia were randomized into the treatment group and control group, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with “Xuezhikang Capsules” orally, and the treatment group was treated with “Jianpi Huoxue Sanzhuo Decoction” orally, with the course of 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy, changes of blood lipid-related indicators (TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C), atherogenic index (AI) and hemorheological indicators (blood viscosity and plasma viscosity) were observed.  Results: ① The total effective rate was 94.12% in the treatment group and 78.43% in the control group, with a difference between the two groups (P<0.05). ② In both groups, there were significant differences in the levels of TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and AI between before and after treatment (P＜0.05); after treatment, there were significant differences in the levels of TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and AI between the two groups (P＜0.05). ③In both groups, there were significant differences in blood viscosity and plasma viscosity between before and after treatment (P＜0.05); after treatment, there were significant differences in blood viscosity and plasma viscosity between the two groups (P＜0.05).  Conclusion: “Jianpi Huoxue Sanzhuo Decoction” has positive effect on hyperlipemia.
