“Dakang Formula” on expressions of HGF, c-Met, EGFR and PCNA in rats with ulcerative colitis
Objective:To observe the effect of “Dakang Formula” on expressions of HGF, c-Met, EGFR and PCNA in rats with ulcerative colitis (UC). MethodsSD rats were randomized into five groups. Except for the blank control group, models were established others were by TNBS (2,4, 6 - three of nitrobenzene sulfonic acid) in the other groups. The models were divided into model group, “Dakang Formula” groups (high, low dose) and positive groups (SASP), and each group was treated with corresponding measures. Eexpressions of HGF, c-Met, EGFR and PCNA in colon tissues were detected by immunohistochemical staining quantitative analysis method (gray value). Results:There were significant differences in expressions of HGF, c-Met, EGFR and PCNA (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, expressions of HGF, c-Met, EGFR and PCNA in the high-dose “Dakang Formula” group and positive group were increased. Expressions of c-Met and EGFR in the low-dose “Dakang Formula” group were increased, with significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). There were significant differences in expressions of HGF and EGFR between the high-dose and low-dose “Dakang Formula” groups (P<0.05). Conclusion:“Dakang Formula” can promote the repair of colonic mucosa, recover the epithelial barrier function, reduce mucosal epithelial contact intestinal cavity caused by various antigen persistent inflammation and alleviate inflammatory reaction, promote colonic mucosal epithelial cell proliferation in colonic mucosa by intervening expressions of HGF, c-Met and EGFR.
