Correlation between TCM patterns of chronic glomerulonephritis and immunological parameters
Objective: To discuss the correlation between TCM patterns of chronic glomerulonephritis and immunological parameters including T-lymphocyte subsets, immunoglobulin and complement, and to provide an Objective: basis for TCM differentiation of chronic glomerulonephritis Methods: One hundred and twenty cases with chronic nephritis as the evaluation objects, with 40 cases of healthy people as the control group. T lymphocyte subsets, immunoglobulin and complement were detected, and correlation between the two groups according to TCM patterns was analyzed Results: Compared with the healthy group, the levels of IgA, IgG, C3, CD3,+, CD4,+, and CD4,+,/CD8,+, were reduced in the chronic glomerulonephritis group, but the CD8,+, level was increased (P,<,0.05, P,<,0.01); IgA, IgG, CD3,+, CD4,+, and CD4,+,/CD8,+, levels of patients with chronic glomerulonephritis is the lowest in the pattern of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, followed by the pattern of qi deficiency of spleen and kidney, and the highest in the pattern of yin deficiency of liver and kidney. C3 level is the lowest in the pattern of qi deficiency of lung and kidney. CD8,+, level is the lowest in the pattern of yin deficiency of liver and kidney, and the highest in the pattern of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney. These difference showed statistically significant (P,<,0.05, P,<,0.01).Conclusion There has relationship among T lymphocyte subsets, immunoglobulin, complement and chronic glomerulonephritis. There is a clear correlation between TCM patterns and immunological parameters. Our sampl Results: that patients with chronic nephritis have an imbalance of yin and yang, which may be associate with the immune dysfunction.
